A running club that meets six days a week in all five boroughs. Daily shakeouts, Tuesday track, Sunday long runs, and marathon builds with pacers who hold the line when your legs forget how to. Show up once; you'll know where the oranges live by the second week.
Pick the track that fits the season. Then pick the one above it when you're ready. Every session is coached; every pace group has a pacer; nobody finishes the last 400 alone.

McCarren oval. Pacers from 3:40/km to 5:30/km. Strides, drills, and a honest warm-up — all home by 20:30.
Slow miles, loud coffee. Meet at the fire station on Bleecker. Pace is conversational — if you can't talk, we slow down.
Route rotates: bridges, ridges, or rivers. Water drops at 8, 16, 24. Post-run coffee at Café Ruba, tea for the brave.

Lay your kit on the rubber. Bib number is chalked on the board — find yours, find your pace group.
1.2 km jog, lunge matrix, then drills across the straight. Pacers call cadence over a speaker zip-tied to a lamppost.
8 × 400m at threshold, 60s float. Splits called every lap at the clock. Group forms a moving ladder — no one runs alone.
6 × 1km at 10k pace. The pack compresses to one rolling unit through the final two reps. This is where you meet yourself.
Walk a lap, then an easy 1.5 km back to the street. Someone always opens a bag of oranges at the finish line.
Numbers we post to the firehouse door on the first of the month, then update every Monday morning. No Strava-flex — just the mileage we put down together.
The pacer pool is larger than the coach team because the pacers are the people who keep your pace group honest in the final 400. Read the roster, pick a pace.

No. About a third of members never pin a bib. Shakeouts and Sunday runs welcome everyone who can cover 5 km at a conversational pace. The racing side is a layer you opt into, not a requirement.
Walk up to the firehouse on Bleecker at 18:45 any Tuesday or Sunday. Bring shoes that fit, a hat for the rain, and a friend if you have one. We'll chalk your name on the board.
